Already 3 wells completed with 12 casing patches

Already three wells completed with Special-Sour-Service casing patches in South East Asia. Saltel installed 12 expandable casing patchin 3 oil-producer wells during an ongoing remedial campaign. The objective was to shut off gas-producing perforations.
Saltel Patch addressed numerous challenges at the same time: Nickel-based alloy to resist very corrosive well fluids, overlap several patches top cover long sets of perforations, a special setting tool to expand in high temperature well, with smart coil tubing unit deployment to convey the patches in live wells with wellhead pressure.
