Casing Patch used as a secondary barrier over remedial squeeze perforations
In the event a squeeze job is required, the Saltel Casing patch can be used to isolate perforations after the squeeze job.
Even if the squeeze job is successful in providing a cement barrier, a casing Patch is often used to seal off the perfs to protect the cement from the fluids and pressures of the well bore, and restore casing integrity. If a remedial squeeze job was required on a well that was going to be fractured, the setting of patch would be absolutely necessary to prevent the squeezed cement from being exposed to the Fracturing pressures.
