Compartmentalized isolation with annulus packers for selective acid stimulation
Challenge
Matrix acidizing requires precise flow and pressure control. Saltel Expandable Steel packers placed along the casing string to split the long length of the annulus into shorter sections will allow proper placement of the treatment.
Solution
Annular Zonal Isolation Packer (AZIP) simulates the combined effects of differential pressure and temperature cycles.
Selecting the adequate material and elastomer skin to meet the downhole conditions allows multiple acid treatments during the life of the well.
