Expandable Steel Patch : ESP technology

Before treatment          After treatment

The ESP is a durable remedy for partial or total repair of wells.
The Expandable Steel Patch is a simple and quick solution for the rehabilitation of oil, gas or water producing wells:

·         Insulates polluted or corroded areas
·         Insulates perforations or screens areas
·         Optimizes the production of wells without a significant reduction of well diameter
·         Increases the lifespan of wells
·         Insulates drilling losses in open hole wells and reduces cement operation
·                       ...

 ESP Installation Phases

ESP installation Phases

The Expandable Steel Patch is run in hole using a conventional drill string connected to the DHCT tool. The Inflatable Packer is inflated at a pressure which enables a good ESP-Packer connection without any change in the ESP’s shape.
Once the ESP is at the right depth, it is expanded by inflating the packer, to come into contact with the casing.
The Packer is then deflated.
The DHCT is then moved up, followed by a supplementary inflation
