Expandable Steel Patch : ESP technology

ESP Installation Phases

The Expandable Steel Patch is run in hole using a conventional drill string connected to the DHCT tool. The Inflatable Packer is inflated at a pressure which enables a good ESP-Packer connection without any change in the ESP’s shape.
Once the ESP is at the right depth, it is expanded by inflating the packer, to come into contact with the casing.
The Packer is then deflated.
The DHCT is then moved up, followed by a supplementary inflation

Performances are depending on expansion ratio, patch thickness and zones to be treated Diameter to be treated:
· From 4.5in to 14in
· Minimum diameter losses less than ½ in
· Steel Patch Expansion ratio: up to 35%
· Steel Patch thickness: from 2mm to 8mm (plus sealing rubber thickness)
· Can be set up in irregular geometry hole (20% oval shaped)
· Can be set in multi-diameter zone
· Customized product, on demand length depending on the application
