Expandable Pup Joint (EPJ)
The Expandable Pup Joint is a cylindrical liner, made of highly ductile alloy radially expandable, with an external rubber covering for optimum sealing.
EPJ extremities are standard API connection.
EPJ can be integrated during well construction, connected to a regular casing or a conventional screen.
Once the EPJ installed in the well, the Down Hole control Tool can be run on demand to expand EPJ sections, enabling the insulation of pre determined zones of the well.
Expandable Pup Joints are very adapted for reservoir control applications and multi-zonal insulations.
