The quality of the Inflatable Packers developed by Saltel Industries is very high. They are built to expand repeatedly in an oil field environment by over 50%, at high temperature, and at pressure up to 10,000psi depending on size and model.

The Saltel Industries knowledge in elastomer and chemistry in the oilfield, developed for its Inflatable Packers and Expandable Patch’s, have been useful to develop different recipes of swellable elastomer for oil applications. These recipes are qualified in tests loops in down hole conditions (measure of the swellable pressure under temperature with crude oil).

The totally integrated manufacturing process from non vulcanized elastomer to final product allows Saltel Industries to have a very strong know how, to shorten lead time and to optimize quality control.
